Tracing the Light: A Short Journey Through the Craft

This year, North Rose Wolcott Lodge #1187 is excited to introduce a new educational program for our Brothers, built around the theme:

“Tracing the Light: A Short Journey Through the Craft.”

What It’s All About

The program is designed as a series of short, engaging presentations delivered at our regular Lodge meetings. Each program will explore a unique aspect of Freemasonry — from its history and symbolism to its philosophy and place in modern life. Together, these programs form a journey, helping us reflect more deeply on the Light we have received and how we can share it with others.

Led by Brothers, for Brothers

The strength of this program is that it is led by members of the Lodge themselves. Throughout the year, Brothers will step forward to take the lead on one of the programs, bringing their perspective, creativity, and personal connection to the Craft. In this way, the program becomes not only educational, but also a way to strengthen our bonds of Brotherhood.

Why It Matters

Freemasonry is more than ritual — it is a lifelong path of learning and self-improvement. By exploring our traditions together, we deepen our understanding of what it means to be a Mason, and we find new ways to apply those lessons in our daily lives.

Looking Ahead

Each meeting this year will add another step in our journey. By the close of the year, we will have traced a path through many facets of the Craft — leaving each Brother with new insights, stronger connections, and a renewed sense of purpose.

We invite all members of North Rose Wolcott Lodge to take part, whether by leading a program, supporting a presenter, or simply engaging in the discussion. Together, we will continue to share Light, learn from one another, and grow as Masons.
